Southwestern Minnesota sees rain and a little snow Wednesday, but the prevailing trend across the state into the weekend is a stagnant trend that keeps skies mostly cloudy and temperatures mild.
Fog is less of a problem Wednesday morning, but southwestern Minnesota is dealing with rain and likely snow.
Although not as mild as Monday, temperatures remain above average through the weekend. Snow chances stay slim for most of the state.
Tuesday brings another day of morning fog and above average afternoon temperatures, with more sunshine likely in the afternoon.
Our mild pattern continues this week. The upper air maps suggest arctic cold may visit later this month.
Following a few bands of light snow Monday morning, snow chances stay limited the rest of the week.  Meanwhile, temperatures remain very mild for January.
Fog is reducing visibilities again Monday morning, but more sunshine prevails by late afternoon, and the entire day stays mild.
