Temperatures remain cold on Monday but will climb well above average by Wednesday. A wintry mix of precipitation impacts Minnesota later this week.
Our Sunday will be much chillier than normal, and wind chill advisories cover much of Minnsota Sunday morning. Some of us will see a passing flurry, with a dusting of snow showers tonight.
We’ll have arctic chill on Sunday, but a January thaw arrives in a few days. We have details on our temperature valleys and peaks over the next few days, plus our best chances for snow.
Blizzard warnings continue this Saturday across western Minnesota and far southern Minnesota, with winter storm warnings elsewhere, including the Twin Cities. Fierce winds will cause whiteout conditions in some areas to the west and far south. Very cold air is spreading across Minnesota, and it’ll linger through Sunday. We have all the details.
The heaviest snow from this storm is over, but some periods of snow will continue this morning, with a bit of freezing drizzle possible too. Periods of snow linger into afternoon in the north. Winds ramp up today. White-out conditions are possible in open areas, especially in western Minnesota and parts of southern Minnesota.
