A lovely Sunday will lead us into a week of pleasant weather. Rain chances are meager and spotty.
Michigan State suspends Mel Tucker after allegations he sexually harassed rape survivor
Michigan State has suspended football coach Mel Tucker after allegations became public that he sexually harassed activist and rape survivor Brenda Tracy during a phone call last year. Michigan State President Teresa K. Woodruff and athletic director Alan Haller announced the suspension pending the results of an investigation into the allegations. 
Kelsey Mitchell scored 24 points, Aliyah Boston had eight of her 19 in a game-closing 18-2 run and the Indiana Fever closed the regular pro women’s basketball season with an 87-72 win over the Minnesota Lynx. 
Buccaneers top Vikings 20-17 as Baker Mayfield finishes strong in his debut
Baker Mayfield recovered from a rough start to throw two touchdown passes without a turnover in his Tampa Bay debut, and the Buccaneers opened the season by beating Minnesota 20-17 after three first-half turnovers by the Vikings.
