Despite a cool spell, warm weather is expected to make a quick comeback. According to meteorologist and climatologist Mark Seeley, dew points around 70 degrees Fahrenheit are expected with temperatures hitting 90 degrees as soon as Sunday.
“We’ll remain above normal for the balance of the month and probably offset that cool spell we had,” Seeley said.
Additionally, rainfall for the month has already been above normal. Most places around the state have already received an inch or more of rain. But with thunderstorms and showers in the forecast, more rain is likely ahead.
