November continues to be warmer than average, but those yearning for snow won’t have to wait much longer.
“We all know how climate change has brought on kind of a shrinking of the winter season in terms of the number of days that we do expect snow each year,” climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley said.
Snowfall is expected to start in the northern parts of the state as soon as Monday, but for the rest of Minnesota, it will begin percolating after Thanksgiving.
“By the way, the guidance suggests the first half of December, we may see more snow than normal,” Seeley added.
