Wintry mix spreads across Minnesota

Minnesota on average has been cooler than typical for this time of year. Although temperatures in the southern half of the state will be on the rise, much of the northern parts of the state are still dealing with snow. 

“I think the thing listeners are going to notice about next week, though, is we're really going to get a heavy dose of spring humidity,” said climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley.

Temperatures could reach 70 or 80 degrees Fahrenheit. More rain is also expected, as drought this month has already shrunk from 34 percent over the landscape to 26 percent.
