A warmer and drier weather pattern is evolving for Minnesota.

High pressure out of Canada is bringing several days of mostly dry weather and plenty of sunshine. Wednesday will be cooler than normal but heat is moving in for the weekend.

A cool front moving across the state will touch off more spotty storms Tuesday but bring a drop in dew points for Wednesday. That will set us up for drier and brighter weather.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday with slightly cooler highs. Temperatures warm this weekend with quiet conditions Wednesday through Saturday.
