Update on Saturday snow chances; plenty of sun for New Year's Day
Some of us will see some periods of light snow Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. We have an update on your weekend and New Year’s Day weather.

Light snow this weekend across much of Minnesota
Friday will bring sunshine, but a clipper system will bring light snow to much of Minnesota Saturday into early Sunday.
Brighter and mild Friday, cooler weekend with light snow
Friday will be mild with sunshine. A clipper system brings increased cloud cover and cooler temperatures with some light snow for the weekend. 
Above-normal temps continue; light snow possible Saturday PM
We will see above-normal temps on Friday, then temps retreat a bit for the weekend. Some of us will see light snow Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
Decreasing clouds late Thursday, light snow and cooler temperatures this weekend
Clouds will linger much of Thursday, but will decrease from north to south later in the day. A clipper system this weekend will bring light snow and cooler temperatures, but still slightly above normal. 
Lingering clouds Thursday, brighter Friday and still mild
We still have lingering clouds Thursday from the Christmas storm system. Temperatures will remain above normal in the 30s to near 40 for highs Thursday and Friday. Friday will be brighter.
