Localized, torrential rain sparked flash flooding in parts of Duluth late Monday night, swamping streets and the Interstate 35 tunnels near the shore of Lake Superior.
We’ll have lingering clouds and a few spotty showers Tuesday along with some cool air. Highs will range from the 50s northeast to near 70 southwest. Tuesday night will be very chilly.
A second round of cooler air is touching off a few showers and bringing even cooler air into the region Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday night will bring our coolest readings yet in months.

The powerful Category 3 storm is restrengthening as it moves northwest, but currently poses no immediate threat to people on land, according to the National Hurricane Center.
