Excessive heat Tuesday followed by storms Wednesday
It’s already a warm morning and it will be a hot Tuesday. An excessive heat warning is posted for the Twin Cities and a heat advisory is in effect for many other areas in southern Minnesota. Thunderstorms will temporarily break the heat Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Yellowstone National Park closed to visitors due to flooding
Major flooding swept away at least one bridge, washed away roads and set off mudslides in Yellowstone National Park on Monday, prompting officials to close the entrances to the popular tourist attraction and evacuate visitors.
