Arctic air set to send Minnesota midweek temps plummeting
With two cold fronts passing through this week, temperatures will plummet by midweek. The coldest air of the season is arriving, bringing wind chill values ranging from minus 10 to minus 30 degrees below zero.
Warming trend continues into Monday; light snow showers possible
Wintry conditions persist in the Northland, with light snow showers possible in the metro area on Monday. A surge of colder air will arrive mid-week, bringing sub-zero temperatures.
Cloudy and mild; winter storm affecting northern Minnesota
Our temperatures will warm 10 to 15 degrees above our seasonal average. Cloud cover will increase as a winter storm moves into the Northland. A surge of arctic air will cause temperatures to drop midweek.
Mild weather continues with strong storm system for Sunday
Another mild day is expected for Sunday, though with increased cloud cover. Our next system will move out of the Canadian provinces toward the Great Lakes region by Sunday into Monday. A drop in temperatures is anticipated by midweek.
Sunny Saturday with warm temperatures; light snow showers northeast
Expect a sunny Saturday with warm temperatures. Northeastern Minnesota will experience a wintry mix, bringing light snow accumulation. A cooldown is forecast for the middle of the week.
Weekend warmup ahead with 40s in the forecast
Temperatures will warm as we head into the weekend, with light snow showers possible near the border and North Shore. Another round of precipitation is expected early next week, with northern Minnesota likely to experience the heaviest impacts.
Big weekend warmup with light snow north
Warmer air is already moving in Friday and making for a mild weekend. Light snow showers move through northern Minnesota Friday and Saturday. We’re also monitoring a storm system for Monday. 
One more cold night before temperatures warm dramatically
Temps will dip once again tonight but begin to warm Friday. Highs will be in the 40s for southern Minnesota this weekend. Light snow is possible north.
