Weekend weather: Cool; periods of rain on Saturday
We’ll have a cool weekend, and parts of Minnesota will see Saturday showers. We have your weekend forecast, plus a look back at the summery heat that we saw in early June last year.
Winds crank back up Thursday; showers Saturday
A cool front sliding south will bring clouds to northern Minnesota and wind for everyone Thursday. It will be warmer in southern Minnesota ahead of the front in the low to mid-70s.
Warmer, wind returns Thursday
Thursday will be warmer with more sunshine but we’ll also see windy conditions develop as a cool front swings into northern Minnesota.
Sunny and pleasantly dry weather ahead
Mostly sunny, mostly dry weather through Friday.
Cooler than normal Wednesday; sun through Friday
Minnesota sees plenty of sunshine Wednesday through Friday. High temperatures will be cooler than normal Wednesday but warmer Thursday and Friday.

Monday’s stormy weather was in some ways indicative of our wet, stormy and cool spring.
Pleasant stretch of days ahead
The cooler and more stable air continues to settle in. Temperatures overnight Tuesday night will be in the 40s for most, to low 50s in the Twin Cities urban heat island. Winds will also lighten up. Sunshine prevails on Wednesday.
Windy Tuesday as cooler air moves in; pleasant few days ahead
After a stormy Monday, it’ll be cooler and windy Tuesday. Highs will be in the low 70s in the south to just the 50s in the northwestern parts of Minnesota. Winds will be from the west at 10-25 mph with higher gusts near 30-45 mph.
