Annunciation school shooting

On Aug. 27, 2025 gunshots broke out in Minneapolis during morning mass at Annunciation Catholic Church and School. Two children, Fletcher Merkel and Harper Moyski, died in the mass shooting. Twenty-eight other people were injured.
