Carlson sells hotel empire to Chinese conglomerate
Minnetonka-based Carlson Companies said Wednesday it is selling its iconic worldwide hotel operations to HNA Tourism Group Co., Ltd. -- a stunning turn for one of the Twin Cities' legendary corporate giants.
