Trooper shoots woman after crash-related incident on I-94 in NW Minn.
What began Monday morning as a response to a crash on I-94 ended with a Minnesota State Patrol trooper shooting and wounding a woman who then fled into a nearby field, authorities say.
Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the incident began in Ham Lake Friday night when the victim had to brake suddenly in traffic. That prompted the male suspect to drive aggressively and taunt the victim on the road.
Man allegedly shoots self outside White House, secret service says
