A 16-year-old boy was reported in critical condition Saturday after being found with a gunshot wound to the head Friday night in the parking lot of a Target store in the southern Twin Cities metro area.
The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy shot and killed a 36-year-old man who opened fire on officers Friday morning as they came to serve an order for protection. No officers were injured. The shooting is under investigation.
