Starting as steel skeletons, segments of the new bridge over the St. Croix River are being cast at a plant in Cottage Grove. Soon, they'll head downriver to be lifted in place to begin to form the deck of the bridge.
The 49th annual St. Patrick's Day parade ran through downtown St. Paul Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Put on by the all-volunteer St. Patrick's Association, the parade featured plenty of green, plenty of music and a whole lot of dogs.
