Minnesota celebrated the art of body modifications with tattoos, piercings and rings at the sixth annual Tattoo Arts Convention at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday.
The National Guard presented the colors, the Greater Mount Vernon Baptist Church choir sang, and friends and family turned out for the swearing in of Gov. Mark Dayton.
Minnesota set a world record for largest paper ball recently, but Minnesota has long been host to many "world's largest" objects -- both official and self-proclaimed.
