Hmong dance team mentor accuses Lynx of using 'exploitative' sales tactics

A school's Hmong dance team called off a performance at Friday's Lynx game after realizing it was, in his words, a "pay to play" deal rather than a genuine performance invitation. The Lynx issued a statement apologizing for "any miscommunication surrounding the performance."

Benches clear -- again and again -- during brawls between Yankees and Tigers

The confrontation opened with a hit batter and an inside pitch, but before long, both benches had cleared amid a flurry of fists. Then, they cleared again. And again. Luckily, no one appears injured.

DNR official: Strong walleye fishing on Mille Lacs not a sign of healthy population

Twins back on track with winning streak

The top two teams in the WNBA face off tonight at the Xcel Energy Center when the Lynx host Los Angeles. The Twins beat the Brewers last night by a score of 7 to 2 for their fifth straight win. And the Vikings defeated the Buffalo Bills 17 to 10 last night in Minnesota's pre-season opener. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about this week in sports.
