Cool, bright Tuesday; warmer Wednesday and Thursday; more showers on the way

We should see more sunshine Tuesday but it will still be cooler than normal. Highs will range form the mid-40s to the low 50s. We’ll be warmer Wednesday and Thursday ahead of more showers late Wednesday and to end the week.

A few days of sunshine before rain, clouds, cool weather return

Northern Minnesota will still see a few flurries and sprinkles Monday. Otherwise look for sun. Temperatures won’t be as cold but will still be below normal. The next storm system will bring showers late Wednesday north and intermittently statewide Thursday into Saturday.

Cooler than normal temperatures will modify this week to near normal by Thursday. The next storm system will be another slow moving area of showers mid to late week bringing with it the return to cooler temperatures.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Space Weather Prediction Center released their aurora forecast for April 23, showing much of the state within range to have a strong chance of seeing the northern lights, if there are enough breaks in the cloud cover.
