A burst of snow sparked dozens of crashes on Minnesota highways Thursday morning — including a pileup of more than two dozen vehicles that closed northbound Interstate Hwy. 35 near Owatonna.
More snow and another blast of cold air on the way
The next round of snow Friday into Saturday should bring another 1 to 3 inches for most of the state, with slightly higher amounts possible for northern Minnesota. As for the cold, temperatures will fall Saturday setting us up for a subzero start to Sunday.
