Thursday will feel more like Dec. 7 than Nov. 7. Our temps will rebound a bit on Friday and Saturday, then plummet on Sunday. Some of us could see some weekend rain showers and snow showers at times. We have an update on our Minnesota crop harvest, which is slower than normal this year.
Plowable snow targets southern Minnesota
The first significant snow event of the season is in progress across southern Minnesota.

Chilly temperatures will linger throughout this week, and the metro area could see some snow Tuesday night. We’ll take a peek at next week’s temps.
Sunday will be the nicer day of the weekend, with highs in the 40s. Accumulating snow moves across northern Minnesota late Sunday into Monday. Details on that, plus our rain chance later Sunday in the south. Another batch of snow arrives late Tuesday.
We never made it out of the 30s on Saturday, but Sunday highs will be a bit milder. Parts of Minnesota could see some scattered rain showers and snow showers Sunday afternoon and evening. Temperatures for the coming week look chilly, but we might see a nice recovery next weekend.
