Drought conditions improve for some, persist for others
East-central Minnesota is no longer considered abnormally dry thanks to soaking rains early this week. The North Shore is out of moderate drought but drought hangs on in north-central and southeastern Minnesota. 
Spotty showers Thursday and cooler, becoming windy
Spotty, pop-up showers will be around the state Thursday. It will be cooler — mostly in the 50s — with winds increasing to 15-30 mph from the northwest. Warm air returns this weekend. 
Warmer Wednesday; chance of showers developing into Thursday
We’ll have sunshine much of the day and warmer temperatures Wednesday. Spotty showers will develop west and north later in the day. Thursday will be cooler with a few showers. 
Lingering clouds east Tuesday. Warmer Wednesday
Clouds will linger in eastern Minnesota Tuesday while western Minnesota skies will be brighter. Wednesday will be much warmer with spotty showers possible into Thursday.
