More burning restrictions are in place across northern Minnesota as drought conditions deepen. State regulators investigate release of drilling fluid into Willow River during Line 3 construction
About 80 to 100 gallons of drilling fluid, or mud, were inadvertently released on July 6 at a construction site near the town of Palisade, Minn., according to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
