Minnesota sees the largest expansion of drought since October
While winter started wet thanks to December rainfall, the second half of winter became quite dry. The lack of snow cover has also allowed soils to become dry.

Warmer Wednesday with snow and rain developing north
While southern Minnesota sees a bit of a warm up and more sunshine, northern Minnesota will see rain and snow develop. A red flag warning is in place for west-central and southwestern Minnesota.
Mainly dry with 50s again and 60s next week
