Temperatures continue to trend upward with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees for many midweek. Smoke returns to the skies. A good chance of rain develops Friday and Saturday.
We’ll have sunshine through occasional high clouds Tuesday with temperatures warming into the mid to upper 80s. Southern Minnesota will be near 90 Wednesday and Thursday with the chance of Thunder moving in late Thursday into Friday and Saturday.
While there have been some torrential rains and scattered reports of high winds or hail in Minnesota this spring, overall it’s the quietest it has been in the region for more than a decade.
Temperatures will once again be climbing above normal this week. Saturday rainfall was hit and miss but we have another chance late this week of some thunderstorms.
After a cool start, temperatures will be back to near or above normal Monday. We’ll have partly cloudy skies with heat building back in midweek. Spotty thunder is possible late Thursday into Friday.
