Rain, snow and some freezing precipitation moves through Thursday. It will still be mild with highs in the 30s southeast to around 20 in the northwest. It’ll be colder Thursday night with lows in the teens and even subzero in northwest Minnesota.
Wednesday’s mild temperatures will continue for much of the next week. Areas of snow and a wintry mix likely on Thursday. A stronger, soggy storm is likely early next week.
Rosebud Tribal members are still digging out from a winter storm that struck the region a week ago. Some are hauling wood to keep community members warm while truck drivers deliver propane to residents.

Much of Minnesota will be above freezing Wednesday. Freezing drizzle and light rain will be possible north with a wintry mix possible Wednesday night into Thursday across portions of the state.
The city in western New York was among the hardest hit by snow and cold. At least 31 people in Erie County were killed because of the storm as of Tuesday evening, according to the health department.
Warmer temperatures are arriving. Some combination of rain, freezing rain and snow is likely Wednesday night and Thursday. Accumulations should be light.
