Weekend weather: Above-normal temps, low wind, dry
We’ll have reasonable winds and warmer than normal temperatures this weekend. That’s good for leaf-raking and outdoor fun, but no help for our drought conditions.
Unusually warm through most of next week; very mild Halloween
Friday begins a streak of mild days. Highs will be in the low to mid-60s across southern Minnesota with clouds moving out early. Temperatures remain 10 to 20 degrees above normal into next week and mainly dry.
Decreasing clouds, warmer Friday into the weekend
Clouds will decrease Friday and temperatures will warm up. Look for highs in the low 60s south and 50s north. The mild temperatures stick around through the weekend along with a fair amount of sunshine.

Thursday sprinkles, then milder; drought keeps grip on Minnesota
Drought hangs onto Minnesota with little change in the latest U.S. Drought Monitor report. Parts of southwestern Minnesota will see a little measurable light rain Thursday. Milder temperatures build back Friday into the weekend.
More clouds with a few showers Thursday then warming up
Increased cloud cover and a few light showers are possible Thursday, mainly in southwest Minnesota. Highs will be well into the 50s despite the clouds. It will be more breezy, from the southeast at 10-15 mph.
Cool, sunny Wednesday; mild weather returns for the weekend
Look for sunshine across southern Minnesota and highs in the low 50s Wednesday. Northern Minnesota will see more clouds and highs in the 40s. Clouds increase gain Thursday with a brief shower or two possible. Highs in the 60s and 50s build back in for the weekend.
