Relief groups brace for Category 5 Hurricane Iota
Just two weeks after Hurricane Eta dumped heavy rainfall in the region, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and southern Belize are facing an even stronger storm.
After Monday’s light snow, the week stays relatively dry. Temperatures turn mild in the middle of the week, with highs in the 40s and 50s.

Hurricane Iota continues to intensify as it approaches Central America
The storm is expected to make landfall Monday as a Category 4 hurricane. Its arrival comes as the region is still recovering from Hurricane Eta, which killed at least 150 people earlier this month.
