Unsettled into the weekend with shower chances
We have an unsettled pattern continuing into the weekend with occasional shower chances and periods of sun in between. Temperatures will be mostly in the 70s for highs.  
Drought, abnormally dry conditions still grip Northern Minnesota
Dry conditions remain firmly in place across northern Minnesota, according to this week’s U.S. Drought Monitor report. A changing weather pattern could bring much-needed rainfall to those drought-stricken parts of the state.
Pleasant Thursday with spotty showers north and west
We’ll have partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 70s again Thursday. There will be some spotty showers developing primarily north and west. More unsettled weather develops this weekend. 
Much more pleasant and brighter Wednesday
We enjoy a break from the wildfire smoke Wednesday and the sun is back thanks to high pressure. Highs will be mostly in the 70s. Shower chances increase heading into the weekend. 
Record smoke front slams the Twin Cities and much of Minnesota
A smoke front from Canadian wildfires produced some of the worst air quality readings on record Tuesday morning. Air quality will improve overnight and Wednesday.
