Pleasant Monday; damp Tuesday; warmer later in the week
This week will begin with a pleasant Monday blessed with light winds. Tuesday will be damp and cool. Warmer temperatures will head our way later in the week.
Flakes were followed by a nice warm-up last October, will we do it again?
Our weekend featured chilly temps, gusty winds and some snow showers and rain showers. It has to get nicer, doesn’t it? Milder temps are in the forecast this week, but some areas will see rain showers or snow showers before the warmest temperatures arrive.
A slow-moving low pressure system will give us a chilly and breezy Sunday, with some on and off snow showers and rain showers. Monday is looking better and temperatures will be rebounding nicely later this week. We also have a fall color update.
Highways reopen in North Dakota, officials urge caution
North Dakota's Transportation Department has reopened hundreds of miles of highways but warned that travel remained hazardous due to severe winter conditions.
Minnesotans had to deal with some snowflakes on Saturday, but the snow began Thursday and lasted into Saturday in parts of North Dakota., with some incredible snow totals. Our Sunday will be less flaky than Saturday in Minnesota, and we’ll see temperatures rebound as we go through this coming week.

Emergency plan activated in North Dakota amid fall snowstorm
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for northern North Dakota and winter storm warnings and watches elsewhere in the state and into parts of South Dakota and Minnesota through Saturday afternoon.
