Pleasant Saturday; unsettled Sunday; warm front for Monday
Saturday will be cool but pleasant with quite a bit of sunshine and light winds. A deepening low will bring a scattering of showers and storms to the state on Sunday. Some storms might become strong or severe late in the day. A warm front will bring hot, very muggy air to about the southern half of Minnesota on Monday before a big cooldown beginning on Tuesday.

Rain will cross central Minnesota Friday morning. Saturday will begin cool and then turn lovely. Strong storms are possible by late Sunday. Monday will be very warm and muggy before the rest of the week turns much cooler.
Pleasant Thursday; periods of showers and big temperature swings coming
Look for a pleasant day for Thursday. Rain will break out Thursday night, mainly across northern Minnesota. Friday could bring isolated showers. Saturday looks like the best day of the weekend. A very warm and stormy Monday will be followed by much chillier temperatures beginning on Tuesday.
At least one confirmed tornado touched down as severe storms ripped through western Wisconsin, damaging homes and other structures near the Chippewa-Dunn county line.
