Friday’s storm is winding down. Morning showers over southern Minnesota will end. Temperatures will remain a bit cooler than normal for the weekend.
Lovely widespread rain soaking much of Minnesota
Significant areas of wind-driven rain will continue over southern and central Minnesota through the day on Friday and into Friday night. Saturday will be drier. Sunday will be brighter with at least some sunshine and temperatures closer to normal for mid-October.

Rainy, gusty weather will continue on Friday.

A soggy weather system brings significant rain through Friday.
Widespread, slowly moving soaker arriving
Widespread rain will soak southern and central Minnesota, starting in the southwest Thursday morning and tracking northeast. Easterly winds will become blustery.
Widespread rain coming our way
Rain will spread out of Iowa and northward across Minnesota during the day Thursday and into Thursday night. Widespread amounts in excess of an inch are likely. Easterly winds could gust over 40 mph.
Soaking rains moving in Thursday and Friday
A slowly moving rain system will drop widespread significant rainfall.
Significant rain on the way after a nice Wednesday
Wednesday will bring more sun and near normal temperatures in central and southern Minnesota while northeastern Minnesota sees clouds. Rain is on the way Thursday into Friday.
