Big winds, blowing snow, subzero cold through Friday
Most of the accumulating snowfall will happen during the day Wednesday into the night with lighter snow showers Thursday. Snow and blowing snow will degrade travel across the region into at least late Friday.
Bitter cold, high winds, snow set to mess with holiday travel
A complex mosaic of warnings goes into effect starting Wednesday. Snow, wind, and subzero wind chills will cause dangerous travel conditions Wednesday through Friday.
Cold, calm Tuesday; major winter storm Wednesday through Friday
Tuesday will be the cold, calm before the storm. Temperature will average about 20 degrees below normal. Snow develops Wednesday with significant accumulation and high winds developing by Thursday and Friday along with extreme cold.
Snow developing Monday; more snow midweek followed by brutal wind chills
Snow showers develop and fill in Monday afternoon for much of Minnesota into overnight. Tuesday will be colder with wind chills ranging from 10 below zero east to 30 below zero west. More snow develops Wednesday.
Two snowfalls and lots of cold air ahead
Monday will be another chilly day with highs in the teens and single digits. Snow showers develop Monday afternoon into the overnight Monday night. Wednesday and Thursday brings another, potentially more significant snowfall for southern Minnesota.
