Thursday's severe weather risk rises; hail, high winds possible
The severe weather risk across southeastern Minnesota has been increased to “enhanced” level for Thursday. Here’s a look at the areas at risk for potential hail, high winds and tornadoes.
Thunderstorm risk followed by a chilly weekend
Thunderstorms will pop up Wednesday in northern and central Minnesota with warmer temperatures statewide. Another risk of thunderstorms develops Thursday with possible severe weather.
Thunderstorm chances then a cool weekend
Scattered thunder showers will pop up Wednesday afternoon in northern and central Minnesota. It will also be warmer Wednesday in the 70s and 60s.
Unsettled pattern next several days
Southern Minnesota will see showers Tuesday while northern Minnesota will remain dry. Thunderstorms will pop up in northern Minnesota Wednesday afternoon.
Showers return for some Tuesday, the first of a few rounds
Scattered showers will spread east across southern Minnesota Tuesday making for cloudier skies and cooler temperatures. Wednesday will be warmer with thunderstorms to the north.
Ice-out up north is near latest on record
Our frigid April has produced some of the latest ice-out dates on record in northern Minnesota.
Stormier pattern develops after Monday
Monday will bring a continuation of beautiful weather and normal temperatures. Showers arrive for some Tuesday with an unsettled pattern ahead.
