A 50s weekend for most of us; update on Sunday p.m. rain chances
If you like near-normal temps, you’ll be OK with our weekend weather. If you need sunshine, you’ll be happiest in western Minnesota this weekend. We have details on that, plus who may see some snow Sunday night into Monday and early Tuesday.
This will be a fairly typical Saturday in April: not too warm and not too cold. We have the details, including who may see a shower.
Decent weekend; temps plunge next week
Our weekend weather falls into the “decent” category for early to mid-April. We timed the rainfall to fall during the week. This weekend will be mostly dry across Minnesota, with the exception of steady light rain in northeast Minnesota Sunday.
Jekyll and Hyde April: Wild temperature swings this month
Minnesota has alternated between extreme warmth and cold this year. Here’s a look at how wildly temperature patterns have fluctuated in 2021 so far.
Rainy weather continues Friday, with a drier break coming over the weekend. Temperatures next week trend below average, which means some of the upcoming precipitation could come as snow.
Minnesota continues its wet trend on Friday, and all the recent moisture plus light winds have led to areas of dense morning fog.
Showers continue across Minnesota Thursday and Friday, then finally clear out Saturday.  Temperatures stay cooler for most of the state.
