A breezy Thursday afternoon; northern Minn. could see a passing sprinkle
Our Thursday afternoon will be breezy with plenty of sun in most areas. Parts of northern Minnesota could see a passing sprinkle. Florida, meanwhile, is bracing for Hurricane Dorian.
Pleasant Wednesday; some showers Wednesday night
Wednesday will be pleasant with thinning clouds north of the metro area. Winds will be gusty. Showers are likely for northern and possibly east central Minnesota Wednesday night into Thursday morning before dry weather returns for the rest of the week.
Winds will pick up on Tuesday, and high temperatures will be well below normal. The best chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms will be in the northern half of Minnesota, but we could see a shower and isolated thunderstorm in the Twin Cities metro area Tuesday afternoon.
Areas of rain will cross Minnesota on Monday. Scattered thunderstorms are possible mainly in the afternoon. Tuesday will be breezy and rather cool with scattered showers.
Rainy days and Mondays. Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have periods of rain Monday into Monday evening, with a few embedded thunderstorms.
We’ve had several consecutive dry days, but rain is in the forecast. Areas of showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop in western Minnesota and spread eastward during the afternoon and evening hours. Most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see periods of rain with some embedded t-storms overnight Sunday night and on Monday.
