Last Monday the Twin Cities high temperature was 18 degrees. Our temps will be much more comfortable this Monday and you’ll probably like our Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures too. Some spots could see rain or a wintry mix Monday and Monday night. We’ll also take a look at a potential swath of rain and snow Wednesday into early Thursday.
We enjoyed mild temps on Saturday, but our Sunday highs will be a bit cooler. Some locations in Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see some drizzle/flurries and light rain/snow showers at times, especially Sunday morning into early afternoon. There’s a chance of patchy freezing drizzle in northeastern Minnesota. Temperatures rebound a bit on Monday and Tuesday.
Parts of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see a wintry mix of light rain, drizzle, freezing drizzle and light snow Saturday evening into early Sunday. Sunday highs will be a bit cooler than our Saturday highs. Milder temps will return as we start next week.
Our Saturday highs will be in the 40s in many areas, but it’ll also be windy. Rain chances Saturday evening turn into a rain/snow mix overnight Saturday night. Details on all that plus a look at November snow totals over the past few years.
Numbers: Severe Minnesota 'winter' so far
Weather numbers show this is one of the coldest starts to the cold season on record.
Afternoon temperatures will be above freezing the next few days, which is good news for anyone who still has some raking to do. Some areas will see rain showers or snow showers Saturday evening and Saturday night.
