I saw several people wearing shorts and no jacket Friday afternoon, as our Twin Cities high temp hit 50 degrees. Today will be several degrees warmer than yesterday, so there might be a few flip-flop sightings. Minnesota highs will be mostly in the 40s this Friday afternoon, a few spots in southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities metro area could touch 50 degrees. Saturday will bring 50s to many areas.

Minnesota highs will be mostly in the 40s today, with some spots in the metro area and the southeast reaching the lower 50s. Friday highs retreat a bit, with some 30s in the far north and in parts of west-central Minnesota.
