Recreational use of cannabis for adults 21 and older is now legal in Minnesota.

White Earth Nation opens state’s first recreational cannabis dispensary outside tribal lands
A new tribal-state compact between Minnesota and the White Earth Nation reached earlier in the week laid oud guidelines necessary for the tribe to regulate and operate cannabis businesses outside the reservation.  
Study finds medical cannabis provided relief for those with obstructive sleep apnea
The study by the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management is the largest on record involving obstructive sleep apnea and medical cannabis patients. It found nearly 4 in 10 patients were able to achieve relief in symptoms.
Date set for lottery to determine Minnesota cannabis business licenses
The license lottery will be June 5 for cannabis cultivators, manufacturers, and “mezzobusinesses.” There’ll also be a June 5 lottery for cannabis retailer licenses for social equity applicants.
Bois Forte Band of Chippewa set to open cannabis dispensary on tribal land in northern Minnesota
A tribal nation in the far north part of the state is set to open its first cannabis dispensary. Bois Forte will be the sixth tribal nation in the state to open a cannabis dispensary.
