The baseball season is over for the Minnesota Twins. The Twins were eliminated from postseason play last night when they lost to the Yankees 8 to 4 in New York in the American League Wild Card Game
The Minnesota Gophers beat the Buffalo Bulls 17-7 in their first game with new head coach P.J. Fleck. The team didn't look very energized, but Fleck said he never feels bad about any kind of victory.
The top two teams in the WNBA face off tonight at the Xcel Energy Center when the Lynx host Los Angeles. The Twins beat the Brewers last night by a score of 7 to 2 for their fifth straight win. And the Vikings defeated the Buffalo Bills 17 to 10 last night in Minnesota's pre-season opener.
