Though seniors won't get to collect their diplomas in person this year, one Minnesota band director wants to make sure they have their own "home grown version" of "Pomp and Circumstance" for their virtual graduation.
Fergus Falls band director Scott Kummrow went the extra mile by playing not one, not two, not three but some 20 different parts — costumes included — for the class of 2020.

He's not the only conductor who is on a role, er, roll. St. Olaf College's orchestra conductor wrote and sang this barbershop tune as an ode to his "orchies." Like Kummrow, Steven Amundson played all the roles, complete with costume changes.
