A breezy Thursday afternoon; northern Minn. could see a passing sprinkle
Our Thursday afternoon will be breezy with plenty of sun in most areas. Parts of northern Minnesota could see a passing sprinkle. Florida, meanwhile, is bracing for Hurricane Dorian.
Pleasant Wednesday; some showers Wednesday night
Wednesday will be pleasant with thinning clouds north of the metro area. Winds will be gusty. Showers are likely for northern and possibly east central Minnesota Wednesday night into Thursday morning before dry weather returns for the rest of the week.
Winds will pick up on Tuesday, and high temperatures will be well below normal. The best chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms will be in the northern half of Minnesota, but we could see a shower and isolated thunderstorm in the Twin Cities metro area Tuesday afternoon.
Tropical storm Dorian menaces Barbados, with Puerto Rico ahead
Dorian is currently forecast to grow into a lower-level Category 1 hurricane, meaning its sustained winds would narrowly top the 74-mph threshold for a hurricane.
