Warm and windy Thursday with showers, thunder possible later in the day
We will continue our warm weather Thursday and winds will pick up again. We also have some scattered showers and thunder chances later in the day with better chances by Sunday and Monday.
Rain chances return Thursday with fire weather threat
The Upper Midwest is heading into another stretch of dangerous fire weather conditions before a major pattern shift brings widespread rain and thunderstorm chances back to the region early next week.
Warmer-than-normal temperatures for the next several days
Wednesday through the weekend will bring warmer-than-normal temperatures. We also have at least some hopeful signs of some moisture. Showers develop later Thursday and again Sunday.
Cooler overnight but more warm days ahead
Cooler air moves in behind a front Tuesday night with lows in the 30s and 40s before temperatures warm again later in the week. Late-week rain and thunderstorms are possible.

A fast moving disturbance will touch off some scattered overnight showers into early Tuesday. Clouds will decrease Tuesday and the remainder of the week looks warm.

Mother’s Day is ending on a chilly note across Minnesota, with widespread frost and freeze concerns developing overnight as temperatures tumble into the upper 20s and low 30s. After the cold start to the week, a quick warm-up arrives Monday before the next chance for rain moves in late Monday night into Tuesday.
