Dangerous winds and fires in southern California
Santa Ana winds are gusting at more than 80 mph early Wednesday combined with low relative humidity, creating elevated fire danger. Fires and smoke have spread throughout southern California.
One last chilly day Wednesday with two snow chances ahead
Temperatures will warm up after Wednesday. We’re looking at two clipper systems to bring at least light snow to the region Thursday and Sunday. 
Below-normal temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday before a warmup
We’re nearing the end of our latest cold snap. Temperatures will be back toward normal by Thursday, which is also our next chance at some light snow showers. 
20s, 30s return to southern Minnesota later this week
A change in our weather pattern will help usher in warmer temperatures by week’s end. This will allow more clipper systems to pass through, bringing a chance for snow to return.
Cold start to the week; seasonable temperatures return late week
Chilly air lingers over Minnesota through Wednesday. Temperatures closer to normal — in the teens and 20s — return late week along with light snow chances. 
Reprieve from deep freeze this coming week
Frigid but calm weather conditions continue into the workweek, with high pressure dominating the region. A gradual warming trend is expected as temperatures rise toward the typical early January averages.
Cold temperatures continue with frigid wind chills
An Arctic high pressure system will bring sunny skies and cool temperatures. However, a warming trend is expected this week, with temperatures returning to seasonal averages by the end of the week.
