Flood watch much of southern Minnesota through Sunday morning; Mostly dry Sunday

Persistent rains continuing onto soggy ground have led to a flood watch for much of southern Minnesota into Sunday. Most of the state will become rain free by Sunday morning.

Rain at times Saturday and Saturday night, some t-storms too; Mainly dry on Sunday

Much of Minnesota and western Wisconsin will see periods of rain Saturday and Saturday night, and there will be some scattered thunderstorms too. Many southern Minnesota counties are in a flood watch until Sunday morning. We have the details.

Rain at times Saturday, t-storms in some areas; Flood watch much of southern Minn.

The heaviest, steadiest rain on Saturday will be in southern Minnesota, where there is a flood watch. Intermittent rain is expected elsewhere.

Wet on and off through Saturday night; drier, warmer north

We’ll have occasional areas of scattered showers and some thunder through Saturday night, especially for southern and southwestern Minnesota. Heavy rain is possible in parts of southern Minnesota Saturday into Saturday night.

Occasional showers and thunder through early Sunday, then clearing

Look for occasional areas of scattered showers and some thunder Friday. We’ll especially see this activity pick up in western and southern Minnesota Friday night into Saturday night. Skies will clear northwest to southeast Sunday.
