Snow emergencies have been declared in Minneapolis and St. Paul, so check where your car is parked. Periods of snow continue Thursday with the heaviest snowfall shifting north and west.
Snow bands shift north; North Shore blizzard; more snow statewide Thursday
Most of the intense winter weather will be in northeast Minnesota Wednesday as heavy snow and high winds of up to 40-45 mph blow. Blizzard warnings continue for the North Shore. Snow returns statewide Wednesday night into Friday.
Ice, snow, rain spreading across Minnesota through Tuesday night
An icy, wintry mix of snow, freezing rain, and rain is spreading across Minnesota Tuesday. Most snowfall Tuesday will be across central and western Minnesota. The snow fills in north and northeast into Wednesday with heavy snow for northeastern Minnesota Wednesday. 
Dry Monday; wintry mix Monday night into Tuesday
Winter storm watches go into effect starting at 12 a.m. Tuesday in southwestern Minnesota to 6 p.m. Tuesday along the North Shore. A wintry mix is possible Monday night into Tuesday morning in southwestern Minnesota. The wintry mix develops east through Tuesday.
