Heat and humidity return Friday. Scattered storms develop Saturday along with a risk of severe weather. More comfortable and normal temperatures return Sunday.

It’ll get hot and muggy again Friday into Saturday. Saturday also brings the threat of storms and possible severe weather. A prolonged stretch of seasonable temperatures follows.
Lots of sun Thursday; hotter Friday; storms Saturday
Thursday will be comfortable but very warm still. Dew points increase Friday and Saturday along with temperatures heating up. There’ll be a few showers overnight Thursday night with a better chance of scattered storms Saturday.

We’ll have plenty of sunshine Thursday. Temperatures will be hotter again Friday with the best chance of some thunderstorms Saturday into Saturday night. Next week brings more seasonable, comfortable temperatures.

Season's first wildfire smoke drifting over Minnesota Wednesday
Wildfires in northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan are pumping smoke toward Minnesota. The smoke plumes are riding in on the gusty northwest wind flow behind a cool front that blew into Minnesota Tuesday night.
Above-normal temperatures continue
It will remain very warm across the region but a little cooler with slightly lower dew points Wednesday and Thursday. The next chance of some thunderstorms arrives Saturday for most with isolated thunder chances Wednesday night and Thursday night in western Minnesota.
Not as hot Wednesday; continued dry
It will still be very warm or even hot, but not like the last two days with lower dew points and slightly cooler temperatures. We will be mainly dry Wednesday and Thursday.
A summer cool front is breezing through Minnesota. A few strong to severe storms up north through this evening.
