Mild, windy Wednesday; some snow Thursday
Temperatures will cool slowly Wednesday and winds will make it feel cooler. Expect temperatures in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s in Southern Minnesota. Northern Minnesota will see temps drop into the teens and 20s with single-digit wind chills.
Cooler but still mild Wednesday, snow/rain Thursday
Temperatures in the 30s are a bit above normal for high temperatures even on Feb. 9. We won’t see a lot of movement Wednesday as a strong northwest wind keeps temperatures in check. We’ll still be in the low 30s from the Twin Cities south and 20s north.
Is the worst of winter's cold behind us?
Fewer subzero temperatures and more frequent thaws are ahead for Minnesota.
Mild workweek weather: 30s and 40s, chance of snow and rain
Minnesota sees its warmest day in three weeks, with highs in the 30s across most of Minnesota Tuesday afternoon with highs near 50 in the southwest. Expect a snow coating Tuesday night in northern Minnesota with an evening sprinkle or flurry in the Twin Cities.
Soaring to 40 degrees Tuesday, mild through Friday
Temperatures warm up to near 40 degrees in the Twin Cities and across much of southern Minnesota on Tuesday. High temperatures Tuesday afternoon will warm up above freezing all the way to the international border. Parts of southwest Minnesota will even reach 50.
A sustained warmup the remainder of the week
Don’t look for temperatures to dip a whole lot overnight. We’ll see readings in the Twin Cities drop from the upper teens to the lower teens as warmer air streams into the region. Highs Tuesday are going to top out at about 40 degrees or more for much of the southern third of Minnesota.
40 degrees returns Tuesday; mild through the week
The remainder of Monday afternoon will be our coolest until Saturday as warmer air is poised to move into Minnesota. We’ll see highs near 40 in the Twin Cities Tuesday under a mix of clouds and sun with 30s to the north and even a 50 possible in southwest Minnesota.
Cool Monday; 40 Tuesday and above normal most of the week
Monday will be somewhat cool but not cold. Highs will be in the teens north and near 20 in the south. A big warmup comes Tuesday with highs near 40 in the Twin Cities, 30s north and close to 50 in far southwestern Minnesota.
A cool start Monday; otherwise a mild week
Many areas in Minnesota are waking up to subzero temperatures early Monday morning but don’t get used to it. Warmer air is on the horizon. We’ll see high temperatures Monday afternoon mainly below normal by a few degrees.
