Temps rebound; spotty Saturday showers in some areas, possibly an isolated p.m. t-storm
Minnesota fishing opener weather is nice in most areas. Some spots could see spotty showers this afternoon and evening, even an isolated t-storm. We have details on that, plus a look at Sunday and the week ahead.
It still looks like most of western Minnesota will have a dry Saturday. Spotty showers are possible at times in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Weekend split: Summery weather begins Sunday
Saturday’s fishing opener runs cloudy, but bright sun and warmer weather arrive starting Sunday.
We have to mention a shower chance in the weekend forecast, but it’ll be dry most of the time. That’s good news for anglers who want some dry weather for the Minnesota fishing opener.
After cloudier skies briefly drop highs slightly on Friday, temperatures are on the rise again into next week. Spotty showers through the weekend will make little dent in recent dry conditions.

Following a couple dry and sunny days, unsettled weather returns to Minnesota, bringing light rain chances though the weekend. However, it will not be enough precipitation to turn around our recent drier trend.
Temperatures turn even warmer Thursday, and despite a couple areas seeing light rain chances, humidity levels remain very low under mostly sunny skies.
